Outlaw The Artist and JYDN team up on a new summer banger entitled, “LMK.”

Through sharing “ex stories,” the LA-based/London transplant Outlaw The Artist and Canadian JYDN developed a brotherhood at a writing camp in Seoul, Korea at the top of 2020. It was months later during the Coronavirus lockdown that the lyrical mandem realized they had mutual reflections during the pandemic. “When Outlaw messaged me the record and asked what I thought of “Let Me Know,” I already knew what my hook was going to be since it was so relatable” says JYDN. “‘LMK’ mirrors our quarantine lives. I was iMessaging a shorty through the quarantine like, ‘LMK when you want to link up. It ain’t a question you know that I’m down.’ That type of energy didn’t get realer than that in April and May.”

Utilizing the mellow vibes provided by Scott Supreme, Outlaw effortlessly levitates around the banter required to woo his quick-witted mystery love interest professing, “… i know all the rules, I had to break some for you,” and  anticipating the inevitable “tit for tat” that comes with the territory. He follows up his expressed interest with an assurance that “… we ain’t gotta rush anything, we can feel it out.”

The song is part of larger focus for Outlaw The Artist consisting of a slew of upcoming singles, and two projects, “Villains Never Die” + “Aroma,” while JYDN typically mum on upcoming plans, promises a “big summer ahead.”

“Since we’ve all been on lockdown I knew that pull-up/LMK energy would hit different,” says Outlaw. “Im hopeful that if we can be safe for the time being, outside will slowly open back up, then the patios, and portable speakers can pop out. ‘LMK’ is a bop for getting into that vibe.”
