Introduction: Toronto transfer

Shop owner brings JYDN over while Outlaw’s arranging flowers. Shop owner: Yo, this is JYDN. One of our best florists out in Toronto. He’s here for a little bit to help with all these new customers. OUTLAW: Yoo, good to meet you, my guy. They dap. OUTLAW: You know what? I feel like I know you from somewhere. JYDN: I was about to say the same thing. OUTLAW: That’s crazy. They start working side by side, still chatting like they’ve known each other for years. Shop owner smiles and gets back to her flowers.

Customer: [Smiles, amused.. writes her number on the receipt.] Cut to Jydn: He stops arranging flowers and looks straight into the camera. A tiny head shake. He returns to work. Nobody acknowledges the fourth-wall break. Shop owner: [walks past and swats Outlaw on the shoulder with a rolled-up newspaper/paper] Outlaw: Ah! Shop owner: Don't flirt with the customers. Outlaw: I'm not flirting. This is excellent customer service, I’m going above and beyond. Shop owner: Mhmm. Customer: Oh so that's part of the service? Outlaw: For you? Aboslutley..

1 on 1

1 on 1

[Interior: Flower shop, daytime] Jydn shows a customer two bunches of flowers. Outlaw works quietly in the background. Customer: I like these, but are they too much? Jydn: Who are they for? Customer: Me. Jydn: Then do you like them? Customer: Yeah. Jydn: There you go. She laughs. Jydn holds up the two colours. The customer glances at Shop owner, who gives an approving nod. Jydn: We can mix these in, or keep it simple. Customer: No, I like that. You’re really good at this. While Jydn’s helping her choose, Shop owner quietly puts wrapping paper and ribbon beside him. Jydn: We try to make it personal. Customer: So everyone gets this much attention? Jydn: We work with every customer one at a time.

Bouquet

Interior: Flower shop, daytime. JYDN finishes wrapping her bouquet and holds it out. JYDN: Hey, I got these for you. CUSTOMER: Wait, really? JYDN: Yeah. CUSTOMER: Aw, that’s actually really sweet. She smiles at him for a moment. JYDN: Uhh… the ones you ordered? A beat. Her expression drops slightly. CUSTOMER: Oh. Oh, okay, thanks. JYDN: Yeah, no problem. I just wanted to make sure I got your order right.

Customer 3: But I’ll be back. These guys really know what’s good.
