저는 송라이팅과 프로덕션, 총괄 프로듀싱, 아트 디렉션과 디자인에 이르기까지 창작 감각을 꾸준히 다듬기 위한 연습으로 이 EP를 시작했습니다. 가상의 K-pop 그룹을 상상하는 데서 출발해, 음악부터 아트워크와 이 웹사이트까지 하나의 세계를 만들어 보고 싶었습니다. 일곱 곡에 서로 다른 에너지와 감정을 담고, 함께 작업한 사람들의 개성을 연결하며 프로젝트 전체를 완성해 나갔습니다. 이 페이지에는 데모와 각 곡의 아이디어, 그리고 그 창작 과정을 담았습니다.
I started this EP as a creative exercise to keep my tools sharp across songwriting, production, executive production, art direction, and design. Imagining a K-pop group gave me a starting point to build a complete world around the music, from the songs to the artwork and this website. Across seven tracks, I explored different energies and emotional points of view, bringing my own work together with the voices of my collaborators. This page shares the demos, the ideas behind them, and the creative thread that connects the project.
“Me on U”는 서로에게 끌리는 순간을 운동과 놀이의 이미지로 풀어낸 곡입니다. 테니스와 피트니스, 수영장과 모나코의 풍경을 오가며 가벼운 농담과 대담한 자신감을 담았습니다. 상대의 움직임과 분위기에 반응하는 화자의 시선은 반복되는 “you” 훅으로 이어지고, 함께 같은 리듬에 빠져드는 장난기 넘치는 에너지를 만듭니다. 이 곡은 일곱 트랙의 여정을 밝고 자신 있게 여는 첫 장면입니다.
